ABOUT THE ARTIST

A year I spent living and doing volunteer work in Africa exposed me to art made from found objects. Even in the poorest villages, people feel the need to create art, and often use whatever materials they have available. This inspired my art, along with my love for primitive art and masks.

ABOUT THE ART

Assemblique creates unique upcycled sculptures by carefully assembling broken and discarded objects from the past. Even these discarded pieces can still make beautiful art, lasting objects of brass, wood, metal, glass & stone that could be from the past or future, old or new.
