ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am an semi-abstract artist that draws my inspiration from living in St Thomas, USVI, along with my travels. My feelings are more of a representation of feelings, rather than places. I use cold wax and oil, which totally changes oil by itself. It allows for texture, translucency, and mark making.
ABOUT THE ART
Paintings are created with cold wax and oil. Adding the wax with oil can create a translucency and a diffusing of light to appear. The wax also allows for mark making, reductions, and texture. The textures can range from velvety smooth to a rough, jagged surface., inviting the looker to touch.
