ABOUT THE ARTIST
All are pastel on paper, where I have been exploring the idea of the subconscious, and working from memory. Paying attention to my dreams, I have based these drawings on memories of growing up in Levittown in the 60’s when the neighborhood was new and uniform. The colors were extremely vivid then

Soft pastel on paper, based on memories of growing up in suburbia, tapping into subconscious emotions of living in a community largely thought of as ugly, but searching for the beauty therein.
